She is Wario's abusive ex-girlfriend and the princess of an unknown kingdom. Wapeach is a much crueler and more callous version of the other Super Mario princesses.

Wapeach has never actually appeared in a game; supposedly, she was a proposed character for the 2004 GameCube title Mario Power Tennis but was rejected. Supposedly, the character looked too similar to Doronjo (a character from the anime Yatterman) and was vetoed due to lacking a doubles partner. It was not until 2023 that concept art proving the character's existence was released.
