CyberRealistic XL Catalyst V2.0 (DMD2)
This is a special DMD2 edition of CyberRealistic XL Catalyst, rebuilt from the ground up and designed for faster, ultra-realistic results using fewer steps.
It’s a direct evolution of CyberRealistic V7.0, delivering next-level quality for both SFW and NSFW creations.
Recommended Settings:
Sampler: LCM
Schedule Type: Exponential
Sampling steps: 8 (or 12 for extra detail)
CFG: 1.5
⚡ These settings are not the same as my regular SDXL workflow — be sure to adjust your pipeline!
Hires.fix Settings:
ou can try using fewer Hires steps than your main Sampling steps.
Denoising Strength: Recommended range is 0.2 – 0.5.
Hires CFG Scale: You can keep it the same as your main CFG scale, or set it to 1.

CyberRealistic XL Catalyst is where SDXL gets weird in the best possible way. This isn’t some spotless showroom model. Think of it more like a wild test garage. Sparks fly, bolts get overtightened, and suddenly something totally unexpected comes roaring to life. It’s built on the same bones as CyberRealistic XL, but this version is packed with experimental tweaks. Catalyst is for anyone who actually likes a little chaos mixed in with their clarity.
Here, realism crashes right into raw unpredictability. Sometimes it’s brilliant, sometimes it’s just plain bizarre, and every now and then, it’s so off it actually loops back around to being awesome. Welcome to the lab.
🧪 What’s New in Catalyst?
Realism is tuned in weird ways (it’s a bit less censored, and sometimes you’ll wonder what just happened)
Always changing, always mutating (no changelog, just new vibes and glitches every update)
Output can get wild, but when it nails it, it really nails it

Description
Allergic to yellow tints? This one's for you.
CyberRealistic XL Catalyst V1.1 tones down the warm, yellowish cast that’s been haunting many (CyberRealistic) SDXL checkpoints. After some gentle (but persistent) nudging from @ElectricDreams, I tracked the issue.
The result: cleaner, more natural tones and a better-balanced base for prompting. I had to reintroduce a mix of old and new elements and some tweaking, so expect slightly different behavior compared to V1.0.

This brings CyberRealistic to a new level for photorealism. I've used almost every one of Cyberdelia's models, and this one just slaps. Download it now. Actually, download it yesterday. You won't regret it.

Catalyst V1.1 is amazingly good in my opinion! <3
Yes, i like v5.8 also, it's one of best SDXL checkpoints i have used, i am not expert and also not technical expert, but i do think i can make quite nice images with certain type of aesthetics. I like making SFW images, like normal people doing everyday things (yes, with their clothes on, mostly ^^), or cute emo & goth clothes, like runway style clothes showcases with edgy emo models and some artsy stuff. Your checkpoints, like 5.8 and this Catalyst v1.1 are good for sceneries too, even when goes minimal Lora's, the checkpoint in itself with the recommended settings creates amazing images without anything else tbh, but can do some nice tuning with favorite Lora's, those work really well when finds your weights.
Also, i agree totally with what @ElectricDreams said, it's so true that almost all (not just your, but it's a very common thing, even i admit i have not tried every possible checkpoint, but there was some older 2024 start checkpoint i used that had VERY pure white colors, fresh photo look and no yellow/orange tint making everything look a bit like retro photos from 1970's that see in some documentaries) checkpoints in general have that yellow/orange tint, that sort of makes skins and everything look retro and not "pure colors". Some probably like it and it's more normal in their eyes, the aesthetics, but as a Nordic person, for example our skin tones are often quite pale (not everyone, but you all know what i mean), so then notices the yellow/orangeish tint all the time, subjects look like they had way too much solarium tan and surfaces of everything looks like was in Florida type place, you know the sun there has that certain tint making everything a bit yellow/orange hue at evenings.
So yeah, i am an enjoyer of pure colors, pure white snow, arctic & nordic color palette and aesthetics, crystal clear fjords,, cold particles. Ahh.. winter vibes, aurora borealis and footprints disappearing under raining snow. Please keep this up, love and appreciate your work, you make it possible for me to enjoy my hobby of making cute and cool images! And yeah, appreciate SO much that you are doing effort for more clear colors free from that yellow/orange tint that suffocates some of the true colors and clean whites and pureness.
Both your "main series" and this Catalyst can just benefit from that, it makes it stand out even more from the "competition" so to say. Love the prompt adherence also, or how it's said in english. No need to use million words to explain, it knows and delivers. 9/10 score. Only because always can improve just a bit more, gotta stay hungry and push always even further. Love your work and think it's a legit 10-/10 though if am honest, for my use. ^^
Much love and wish you and any readers who suffered through my review rant an amazing summer time! <3
While yellow tint is not welcome, much better, than blue tint.
Sadly i've been getting some unwanted shemale / futa renders with this one.
Another issue:
I installed Forge via StabilityMatrix.
Prompts often looks very promising in the live preview when they're still blurry, but at the final 1-2 steps, the whole image changes drastically:
1. Faces and bodies suddenly change their shape to something much more stylized in proportions, e.g. Hentai breasts / waist or doll-like face proportions
2. Female genitals usually appear red-flushed and juicy while still blurry, but then get replaced by something looking more like a dry ham sandwich
3. Gigantic areolae
The problems seem to be specific to Forge; when using StabilityMatrix's Inference (a simple ComfyUI interface), images look completely different with identical prompts and settings.
Doesn't work with Fooocus, I only get the mutlicolored pixel blobs of doom no matter what I try. All the other CyberRealistic XL and CyberRealistic Pony models have worked flawlessly with Fooocus so far, so I'm curious to why this doesn't? Maybe some wizard can shed some light? I've tried all sorts of developer debug settings but it's always the same garbage output.
And
Does the new version work without problems?
@Cyberdelia It does thank you, but there is another issue. As another user mentioned for ComfyUI, Clip skip 1 doesn't work with Fooocus either (all black output), Clip skip 2 is fine.
