v2.1 If the character’s eyes end up unnaturally wide, try adding "wide-eyed" to the negative prompt. If the character looks too young, adding the aged up tag can help make them look more mature.
v2.0 needs negative prompt [bad finger]
I think there is potential to get a wide range of images like graycolor-custommodel by fine-tuning the prompt.
If you have any prompts that seem likely to produce good results, please let me know.

If 1.2 looks better, 1.3 may be scrapped.
I've reduced the model's quirks a bit.
Somehow I feel 1.2 is better...

Good model, but why does every character look like they have bathed in oil since birth? I've noticed that with nearly every illustrious model.
That's right! The shiny, almost "oiled" skin texture is actually part of this model's artistic concept. It emphasizes a transcendent aesthetic that sets it apart from other models. This shine helps express sensuality and strength, though we understand it may not suit every purpose. If you prefer a drier or more natural skin texture, we recommend blending it with other models or adjusting your prompts. Thanks for pointing that out!
Since you mentioned it, let me also share a couple of other models I really like, developed by other creators, that tend to produce less glossy skin:

If you prefer a drier or more natural skin texture, these might be worth exploring. Thanks again for your feedback!
@GrayColor Fair enough. Its a great model though, it looks great and follows the prompt nicely. The oily skin is fine, I don't have a problem with it. I just noticed that almost all illustrious models make super shiny / oily characters. I'm new to Illustrious and came from using pony lol so I'm a bit thrown off by it all. I also like the models you shared, they actually look great too. I may make my own mix of the graycolor and beret. Thanks for sharing!
Interestingly enough, the more I use this model, the more I really love it. It seems to flip between styles easily, is impressively capable of understanding prompts, and produces absolutely stunning pictures even without using the recommended prompting. It'll even flip seamlessly between cartoon and realistic styles with ease. While the end produce tends to have a brush stroke appearance sometimes, overall, this is one of the more creative models I'm using for poses and lighting, and I find myself often using it as a base model. I just keep coming back to it, and it's getting regular use from me now.
