Super easy high-quality monochrome vintage film stills tinted any color you like. Make it a poster or album cover with strong text accuracy. Strength .6-1.1 depending what you want. Stronger effect at higher strengths, vintage styling/grain correlate with strength as well.

This replicates a very specific type of color tinted monochrome film still, mostly from mid-century British cinema, famously used by The Smiths for most of their catalog, hence the name.

    Terms

    Main Trigger

Trigger is Smithsthetique {color of your choice} monochrome

Smithsthetique is optional but seems to enhance prompt accuracy. Use Smithsthetique alone to keep the style without the monochrome.

    Tips:

    • Use Smithsthetique extra grainy {color of your choice} monochrome to intensify effects and grittiness

    • If you are stacking LoRAs, leave out Smithsthetique if it is giving you trouble.

    • If you choose a color that is the name of something, such as salmon, use the word color in there, e.g. Smithsthetique salmon color monochrome

    • If it is really being a pain with a ton of LoRAs at once, Smithsthetique {color of your choice} monochrome, image of

Note: all colors work, but in particular, these seem to work great: yellow, dark green, burgundy, maroon, peach, blue, pool blue, rust brown, bright red, deep red, orange, neon anything (adds in a mix of bright white and some odd coloring of everything- a happy accident)

    Text

Good with accuracy, and I tried to give a little control over font type. 90% of the time, it understands text reading "{your text}" in {color} serif font or text "{your text}" in {color} sans-serif letters. I tried to train out the quotation marks, but they happen here and there. When you want them, add within quotation marks to that part of your prompt.

You can also reference text in a banner, in a stripe, in a border, in a small circle, etc. and it should usually get it right.
