Depth Couture

Laconic:

Depth Couture is inspired and trained by depth map images for ControlNet purposes but not intended to create depth map models directly, just images that emulate them to an extent. The LoRA tends to avoid color unless specifically asked to add it, which can create dramatic contrasts between the soft grey and brilliant hues.

Loquacious:

Born from wanting to justify having made far too many depth map images from various images, the idea of the ghostly forms becoming a style in and of itself occurred. With Depth Couture you'll see the results, images that are more than simply desaturated but often clearly segmented, giving, in some cases, an assembled appearance rather than a outright smoothly transitioning one. Color is largely absent unless specified and there's nothing in the LoRA that acts to dull any colors, so you can create what is essentially exaggerated spot color.

There's not a whole lot more to it than that - it's a cool monochromatic effect, IMHO, that can be put into use for all manner of interesting compositions.
