I tried using this VAE (I think both times with Pony Diffusion V6 XL) and it made my PC freeze so that I had to restart it. Other VAEs like sdxl-vae work, has anyone an idea what may cause this?

The diffusion model consumes a large amount of VRAM during VAE decoding.
Since even SD1.x models are highly loaded, even more load is expected when using SDXL VAE.
If the Pony diffusion V6 XL model is itself under high load, it is possible that it may run out of VRAM.
very good at removing jpeg artifact
I really like this VAE. It adds brightness and natural colors, particularly to skin tones, and I haven't noticed any artifacts or banding. After comparing it to six others, this one is definitely the best. It reminds me of how certain smartphone cameras shoot brighter photos, while others lean toward higher contrast and bolder colors.
