This French heavy tank (32 tonnes) was equipped with a 47mm gun on the hull and a short-barreled 75mm gun on the turret. Its heavy armor was indestructible by the German 37mm and 50mm guns, which were the main battle guns during the war against Germany, and it stood in the way of the German armored divisions.
