Drazh Ironblaze was born in a Ferexian prison forge. His mother was a convict, sentenced to labor, and the empire didn’t bother finding anywhere else for her child. So Drazh grew up among the bellows and slag, where the heat never stopped and the guards didn’t care if a toddler got burned, so long as the work got done.

Before he could even lift a hammer, he learned the most important lesson: no hero was coming to save him. If he wanted freedom, he’d have to take it himself.

So when the prison revolted, Drazh slaughtered guards and convicts alike—anyone who stood in his way—and walked out a free dwarf while the rest burned behind him.

He doesn’t fight for empire or ideals. He fights because it’s the only thing that’s ever made sense. Battle is clean, loud, honest. When the first blood spills, Drazh’s beard flares, burning hot enough to blister even himself. That’s fine. He likes the pain. It reminds him he’s alive. And free.

Now, he fights for the Conclave Arcana. They pay him well. It’s the only reason he hasn’t turned on them.
