A persistent issue with generating images of mermaids in sexual situations is the fact that it's hard to consistently get it to retain the full mermaid form while still keeping true to the prompt. Oftentimes, it will give the mermaid legs even when you explicitly tag out any keywords relating to legs, and that can be a headache to work around.
This is the key reason why I trained this lora to rectify the issue, to simplify things and ensure that it's easier to keep the tail intact while still keeping the sexual content. I may keep developing this lora further to iron out some of the less functional aspects, while diversifying the dataset. The goal is to include as many potential positions as possible so you'll have a good toolbox to use for various sex positions.
With the anima version out of the way, I decided to experiment with more concepts. The one I ended up adding was intertwined tails, which should aid in yuri, futa and general merfolk hetero content, as well as theoretically allow for lamia on mermaid stuff, even if that part is a bit wonky currently, which is ironic considering the vast majority of images teaching the intertwined tails concept was lamia on mermaid content. Either way, you can now use this model to make lamia yuri, so hooray. The concepts I didn't get to include in the Anima version that I really wanted there were mermaid tail/finjobs (primarily the latter since there's barely anything out there to use for it, and it's extremely hard to prompt), as well as cunnilingus (considering that the vast majority of mermaid cunnilingus art is of the mermaid giving the cunnilingus rather than recieving it). I might be able to rectify it in a future release, but for now I'm satisfied.

I highly recommend you tag in positional tags into positives, as well as putting stuff like conjoined in negatives to prevent some issues that may arise with some configs.
Illustrious version is optimal at 0.8, whereas you may wanna use Anima version at 0.7 to 1 depending on what you want to achieve, but I generally advice against 1 for tail hugs and intertwined tails.

V2.5 for anima. Used a continuation run from the same epoch used for 2.0 with a dataset containing only finjob images, including the 5 original illustrations used in the 2.0 dataset, as well as about 13 images I had generated specifically to make more training data for the sex helper. In order to achieve this, I specifically trained a rough lora based on these 5 original illustrations, and stomached through the wonkiness of it to allow for a more complete and varied dataset to apply to this lora. Of course, since I didn't do additional training for the concepts that were already there, these concepts should be minimally affected by this addition. If issues DO arise that were not present in 2.0 with these concepts, my recommendation is to use that instead.

Hello! Amazing lora, the finjob additions are nice! But the mermaids seem to generate with a very short body (the mermaid part), is there a way to fix that?
There probably is, but I'm not sure how exactly, as well as how to train that out. Only thing I can really recommend is adjusting lora weight based on what yields best results, and maybe switching between versions if 2.5 causes issues with certain sex positions, since there was some degree of performance loss with the pre-existing sex poses from 2.0 in that version. I'll probably end up doing a new training session soon with the full dataset, trying to ensure a good balance of various positions with a good amount of steps to ensure each position/concept gets equal amounts of training.
But yeah, I find that inconsistent tail lengths is a big issue that keeps coming up with prompting mermaids, and I probably contribute to that too by including lamia images in the dataset (only for intertwined tails, mind you).
