Why? I rather doubt you were uploading pictures of naked children. Civitai does have a history of inconsistently and inexplicably considering adult women to be children, so I'm guessing that's the reason? (And also a history of inexplicably considering children to be sexual. That pair of issues is not a good look.)

@ouros all of them were obviously adult women... so civitai just misclassified them. Back to coffee machines, it doesn't happen there.

@konyconi You know... you say that, but what if those coffee machines were manufactured fewer than 25 years ago? Pretty sure that's underage by Civitai standards.

Also, I've seen mention of Civitai using some kind of automated AI age detection system for faces. Which is odd, because you'd think a website about AI would know better than anyone how unreliable systems like that are, at least contemporary ones. It probably also has a serious racial bias - another common problem of current systems like that - so it may interpret "non-whites" as either way younger or way older than they actually are. Not sure why Civitai would want to wade into an ethical quagmire like that, though it probably does help with the sheer volume of submissions they get.

Whatever images you were trying to upload, you could probably upload them literally anywhere else on the internet (that allows NSFW images) besides Civitai and not run into any issues. Civitai is the most strict about this of any website I've ever seen.

@ouros Yes, it is automated system, and no ideal classifier with 100% accuracy exits. In this case is better to have false positives than false negatives. It is just strange, that so many pictures were misclassified and there is no option to ask for human review.... just autoblock

it might be the "1girl" tag. I've noticed similar issues with having ANYTHING that has "girl" in it in either positive or negative prompt, such as a lora name "collegegirls" or putting "woman" in positive prompt with "girl" in negative prompt... both flag it as "underage" entirely based on the text rather than the image itself

@Socalista The tag appears to be in the ones that successfully uploaded as well, though, so clearly it's not an instant rejection. It could still be part of it, though. Which would be silly if true, since many people use girl in a way that can easily encompass women of legal age. The mere phrase "college girls" refutes the idea, since almost all college girls are either of age or just barely below the limit. On their 18th birthdays they don't suddenly become "college women" instead.
