The Thiruvikramasana pose, often referred to as a standing split or a variation of the standing dancer pose, is an advanced yoga posture that demands exceptional flexibility, balance, and core strength. In this pose, the practitioner stands on one leg while the other is lifted high—often to or above head height—creating a dynamic vertical or horizontal line with the body. One or both arms may be used to support the raised leg, either by grasping the foot or maintaining balance. Named after the giant stride of the Vamana avatar of Vishnu (Thiruvikrama), the pose symbolizes expansive energy and transcendence. It is both a physical feat and an expressive form, combining control, grace, and focused intention.
Consider this a challenge to do better, or introduce other poses to flux... I guess? I managed to get handstands working, so y'know, worth a try (search Inversion)
What I learned:
Can flux do weird mutated handfeet? Yes, yes it can!
Can flux add extra limbs? Yes, yes it can!
Can anyone do anything useful with this? I dunno, surprise me!
