Kristin Laura Kreuk is a Canadian actress who first appeared in the teen drama Edgemont. She is best known for her roles as Lana Lang in Smallville, Catherine Chandler in Beauty & the Beast, and Joanna Hanley in Burden of Truth. Kreuk's drama teacher encouraged her to audition, which led to her Edgemont role. She has also appeared in the movie Eurotrip.
