got 64gb of ram, now im trying to do something from scratch but im still using over 50gb of ram 😭😭😭
What software do you use for generations?
You can save usage of ram by applying xformers to the system
Crody comfyui, forge or automatic1111, I use comfy for training but its been crashing, I dont know if its the ram or vram but something is not working

I know nothing about recent training models but I can give you several advices from my experience with kohya_ss
Having lower train batch size, network dim or network alpha would be great
Adjusting the max resolution would be good as well but it'll cost some of qualities
Crody I have kohya ss installed but never learned how to use that tool properly, watched some tutorials on youtube and isntalled comfyui instead haha, I tried to train a lora in kohya but my laptop was lagging bad and I have to give up, do you think kohya its better than comfy for training purpose? I have 4gb vram, im using a 2016 laptop (HP OMEN 16 i7 7700hq and gtx1050 4gb)
dingapriya23 Probably 4gb VRAM is the reason why it got crashed
Try using all of them on Kaggle instead https://www.kaggle.com/
Kaggle lets you use the GPU with 15GB of VRAM (T4 x2) for 30 hrs per week
