Dip Dyed Hair / Colored Tips | Concept LoRA
Well, this took me some time to make. Also back from my Vacation. Good to be back.
Weight can go from 0.9 up to 1. I recommend 1. Works with almost every Style, every Character and Photorealistic Models.
You probably have to increase the weight of the trigger itself, if the color doesnt appear. I recommend between 1 and 1.5. Combining colors does work with different weights as well. Blonde can be a little inconsistent sometimes. Also u have to prompt the hair of the Character, so it doesnt take over.
Trigger Word:
IncursioDipDyedHair
Color Support:
red, soft pink, blue, green, pink, purple, blonde, aqua, orange, black
How to use LoRA's in auto1111:
Download LoRA
Copy the file to
stable-diffusion-webui/models/loraSelect your LoRA and use the triggerword
Make sure to change the weight if needed (by default it's

exactly what i've been wanting for a while now and it works brilliantly, thank you
Fantastic lora. Took me a while sadly to realize that it only supports certain colors. Do you think we might one day see an update to support white and black hair as well?
It does support Black and White, but the Chance is very low:
@FallenIncursio How bizarre. I couldn't get mine to do a white and black hair mix like that no matter how hard I tried. I even increased the lora to 1.5 strength and still nothing. In fact, there's been many times now where this lora just straight up refuses to do the color combos I want, like pink and green. Maybe its the checkpoint I'm using? I'm using the hassakuhentai model.
@Shadowknight502 I dont use the hassakuhentai model, but it shouldnt matter too much on the model (I hope). Some Colorcombos tends to need more luck then the others. Black and White can be a little difficult to get, but pink and green shouldnt do much problem, because the dataset is very clean on these. It can also be on some character loras, where the loras are pretty hard cooked and doesnt let u do anything.
Anyway, best way could be a simple prompt and go up with each prompt.
@FallenIncursio I wonder why it gives me so much trouble then. If generate a batch of pictures, regardless of which color combo I go for, maybe 1 of 3 will do the colors properly but the others will always be one color or the other depending on the lora strength. I've had no success at all on the white and black though and I've tried that combo like 20+ times. My thanks for trying to help anyway. I guess I'll just try generating large picture batches when using this lora and hope one of them gets it right.
@Shadowknight502 I’m not sure exactly what program/app you use, but whenever I want hair w/ more then 1 color I use: “(( ___ hair)), (___hair), (gradient hair :1.5)," in my prompts.
See if adding that to your prompt helps you trigger the black + white combo.
Wanted it for a long time, thanks, il try it
It seems incapable of doing the one I want most: Red hair with blonde tips. I keep getting blonde hair with red tips no matter how I word it. Or just plain red hair. Side note that might be useful: The word for hair transitioning from one color to another like this is apparently ombre.
Blonde can be a little inconsistent, because blond is not a super strong color. Its very light, so it gets overriden super fast.
Pretty awesome!
I like it but I'm having problems generating red hair with black tips, it just keeps becoming black hair with red tips.
