I got a DM from another user on here asking me about some help in creating a LoRA of a French singer, Marina Kaye. Being an older (Gen-X) American, and reasonably disconnected from current popular culture, I had no idea who she is. I suggested that he make an Embedding of her using the EM tab on his installation of Automatic1111 (more to it than that, but that is the gist), but he wasn't very confident in his abilities with creation just yet. I think every one of us that makes something has this initial doubt every time we try "the next thing". Until we do it. I then put together a prompt for him to 'cut and paste' to try the process out, but I think the time difference worked against us (somewhere in France vs EST [GMT -5]) and I had the opportunity to try it out first, since I come home from work at lunch. Here is the prompt that I used on the EM tab, as previously described:
female, shoulder length brunette hair, brown eyes, slender body, medium sized breasts, age:18, "Marina Kaye" mixed with French singer "Marina Kaye" in the year 2016.
After clicking on the "Parse" button and not getting an error, I put the 'save name' of "Marina Kaye" in the lower field (without the ""s) and clicked the "Parse" button again. The process takes about 60-120 seconds to complete, and then the Embedding file is in your embeddings\embedding_merge folder. There is no need to move it from there in order to immediately use and test it out. If it looks good move it somewhere appropriate, and just delete it if it missed the mark.
I first got the idea for making Embeddings from an article by tvange365 (https://civarchive.com/articles/9565/5-second-embeddings-and-how-to-make-them), and this was the modification for a specific person at a specific age. Try my variation (or your own modification of it), try tvange365's way, then try your own modification with your own parameters to make something that interests you and see how it turns out.
