Elisha Cuthbert is a Canadian actress and model, born on November 30, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta. She began her on-screen career as a child co-host of the Canadian children’s television series Popular Mechanics for Kids. However, she gained widespread recognition in her early 20s for her role as Kim Bauer on the FOX action series 24 (2001–2010), portraying the daughter of Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer.
Following her TV breakthrough, Cuthbert appeared in various film roles, including the cult-favorite teen comedy The Girl Next Door (2004), the horror remake House of Wax (2005), and the ensemble holiday film Love Actually (2003). She later garnered attention in comedic television, starring as Alex Kerkovich on the ABC sitcom Happy Endings (2011–2013).
