Interesting Trivia:

Nocturna was originally planned years ago to appear in Batman: The Animated Series in an episode where she bit Batman and turned him into a vampire. Unfortunately, the network censors at FOX thought that the draft was too scary for children and their rules stipulated that no blood or bloodletting could be shown on television on a children’s Saturday morning broadcast. Despite moving the show to Kids WB for the fourth and final season, the censors of that network had a “no vampires” rule when Paul Dini tried again to pitch the episode and the staff were forced to give up ever making Nocturna appear on the show or in the DCAU. However, this iteration would finally appear in the Scooby Doo/Batman comic decades later.
