If you know, you know. This is a LoRA for a simpler time, when you could walk into a convenience store with a camcorder and talk to pretty French girls and cokeheads with popped collars. You could get a Big Gulp for $0.69 and smoke indoors. And pretty much everyone was friendly. If you want to mainline pure nostalgia, this is it.

Wild that over a lifetime of decades, I can remember seeing this one particular video on YT and the girl in it...
What's really wild, is that I see you everywhere I go, this person named 'deleted' just posting all over the place. >,<

Oh.. yes..
Isn't it weird to think that these people back then could have no idea that 38 years later not only would millions see this random little recording but also that it would end up being trained on and recreated in various forms by advanced computing.
Oh and that famous actor who's starting to gain in popularity around this time could easily be added wearing a silly hairnet behind the counter as well just for fun. :)
What a bizarre world we live in!
We truly stand at the beginning of recorded digital history. Someday, inconceivably long in the far future, when all we know has turned to dust, the Earth has been consumed by an expanding sun, and eventually every piece of what we once were gets shot into space to perhaps form new life, there may be descendants that find bits of our digital lore squirreled away in deep forgotten parts of the universe, future digital anthropologists who dedicate their lives to carefully reconstructing bits and bytes of long-forgotten file systems.. and eventually get a dick pic.
Go one forward man... We're about to be in a world where any video or picture of a cute chick can be nudified. Basically we're about to have X-ray glasses and cameras all the time. I really think it's going to change privacy expectations, social norms, the pictures that people post publicly, etc.
Given the number of half decent surveillance cameras out there today + 38 years... We'll all be perfectly recreated down to a single hair and maybe beyond just from junk data. We'll be stars (most likely extras) in some of the weirdest films we can't even imagine.
This is so strange! The other day I was kind of 80's nostalgic and was watching a few "vlogs" from that era on youtube, and this was one of the vids I watched. This is like maybe 2 weeks ago, and now here we are!
Btw there is another "vlog" video from that period that is very worth replicating, I don't remember the name, but it's 2 long haired metal kids going through their town, to the grocery and stuff, one is filming and the other is actually vlogging about whet they spend their days at.
Edit: Well I guess I found it, it's called:
Metalhead Teens in a Record Store (1989)

Why are so many of these HY loras so weirdly specific.. The point of AI is to be imaginative, not just to copy what 1000 people have done before you.
PS: this isn't a riff on the uploader, I'm just askin cuz it's strange, is all.
I think there's room for both and they'll make each other even more weird as it grows, there's a massive slew of iconic memorable scenes and videos out there that'll likely end up getting converted into these and I'm 100% on board with the folks making general Loras for effects. Blend the two and you can remix the past into your own weird visions.
