Note that Passage Ext is not intended to be superior; it's a distinct approach that relies more on personal preference and feels. It still offers a more conceptual / geometric and smoother portals, can be weightened with passage for great different results

I don't know how you made your showcase image, but that is mesmerizing!
It was pretty simple at least for the animation, I used "Movepic" from the PlayStore (android), for tweaking the gif optimization (size/render) ffmpeg on linux did the trick
