V60 is even further mixed; I hope you find it good and flexible. I actually made it a few months ago but wasn't sure if I wanted to release it until now (interfusor writing this August 2026).
V50 is further improved 3d and realism, but still has a good way to render cartoony pics.
V40 is merged with Illustrious 2.0 and I've further (hopefully) made 3d and realism better if you prompt for it.
V31 is merged with Illustrious 1.1 and I've also tried to make it more "3d-friendly", so do try it out!
V20 is merged with Illustrious 1.0. It's gonna be a very similar look but over all I think everything looks a little better in the new version.
Just a personal mix. Like original Gehenna for Pony, I suggest using tags like realistic -- or 3d, render either in Positive or Negative to change it up well depending on what you fancy.
My advised settings:
Sampling method: Euler a
Sampling steps: 20-30
Width: 832
Height: 1216
CFG Scale: 5-7
For upscaling I like: R-ESRGAN 4x+ Anime6B
These can be placed in Positive before your prompt for some quality enhancing:
masterpiece, best quality, amazing quality, very aesthetic, absurdres, newest
I also find this simple tag to be very useful: lips
And as usual I always recommend Hi-Res Fix, and Adetailer for the faces.

Hope you enjoy it! I keep going towards realism little by little, but if you prefer the more cartoony style there's always the earlier versions.
This checkpoint does magic with the 3d, and in v50 is even better!!! aaand i love it!! ❤️❤️❤️

I love the Gehenna models but so far the v50 and v40 look too close to 3D than "realistic drawing" that the v20 was achieving, it still looks very great though and gives very proper results, but lacks a bit of details and makes it look a bit "bland" sometimes, despite having nice characters
Thanks for the input, I think maybe I should open up some of the older versions for online generations. I have people who have told me that v20 was really good.

What a stunning checkpoint. (IL. V5) . I can thrown any kind of Loras into it and it will stick to the prompt, and pose, not to mention beautifully rendering the style. Bravo for creating a robust, and versatile checkpoint!
Thank you so much. I have had some mixed reactions from it -- it is a little too much on the realistic side I've heard, but I'm glad you like it. Myself I still use v40 more so I'm still keeping it as the main checkpoint on here.
interfusor You're welcome. I've used V4, but when I started stress testing checkpoints+Lora combos is when you released V5. Frankly, the fact is it more 3D is fine by me. Though out of curiosity I will get V4 again, and test it out for fun.
When do you plan to open online generation again?
It will be active on thursday, I have to bid buzz each week to keep the checkpoint open and I just forgot last thursday.

@Jimbo20 If you bid on it it will certainly help, but since they lowered the checkpoints available from 200 to 100 it's getting quite pricy I'm afraid.
Could you please provide any recommendations for negative prompts?
I usually don't use negative prompts unless it's something I don't want the image to show. You shouldn't need any for this checkpoint, but if you use a ton of LoRAs with it then it might be necessary; the checkpoint on its own should work without negatives, is what I mean.
I love using this checkpoint one of my favorites.

I first downloaded the checkpoint because I figured it would work best with your Lora's, but I have found that the Checkpoint stands very well on its own as well. I do recommend.
Just a quick update. One of the samples I wanted to post got me this warning:
"Unable to Verify AI Generation
We couldn’t confirm that this image was generated by AI. To resolve this, you can manually add the prompt used to create the image."
That must be a compliment to the checkpoint, when the civitai AI can't be sure it is AI xD

Is v50 only available on CivAI? The download keeps failing no matter what. I tried different browsers and JDownloader2 (resuming download is not working too).
It only happens on CivAI and I fear that it is intentional.
Hmm, odd. I tried downloading it after I saw your post and it worked fine to do so. Maybe Civitai has issues when you tried? Can you try again and get back to me?

I just let JDownloader run over night and it finally completed v50, after almost 30 GB of failed attempts (In JDownloader (via CivitAI API key) it shows option to resume, but it just starts over and over again after the download fails. Resume in Chrome works only at the beginning but not after fail)!
At least they did not add some kind of download token which expires after some time, resulting in failed downloads. It is just a combination of unstable connection (hopefully temporary), lack of resume and my slow internet (almost one and a half hour per SDXL checkpoint), which makes CivitAI borderline unusable for me for larger files.
Fortunately there is a mirror for v40 on huggingface, which completed without any troubles.
Anyway, these are awesome checkpoints. Glad I found them (your Natalia Korda LoRA brought me here)!
