This is my first LoRA. Any feedback, suggestions, and comments are welcome. Also, this is THIRD time I've had to type up a description due to Civit's session timeout. RIP to the first description, which was awesome AF. Awesome Description, b.2025, d.2025. 2nd description wasn't shit tho.
Steve McNiven is a comic artist for Marvel, with major works featured in "Marvel: Civil War" (2006-2007), "Old Man Logan" (2009), and others. He is known for his character's expressions and unique hyper realism sketch style. Much of his cover art has graced numerous Marvel works in the last 2 decades.
I call this LoRA a "parody" because after combing through McNiven's work, I had to crop and reconstruct many scenes and figures due to Marvel's layout style. From there I chose the images that most closely resembled McNiven's work. Much of McNiven's original catalog (independent of Marvel) has been taken offline by the artist and have not been re-released.
Most Illustrious checkpoints work well with this LoRA in Euler, Euler A, and DPM++ 2M. I used the following ckpts for the posted samples:
Lastly, I hope you enjoy this LoRA. I have planned more western artists style only because Illustrious leans heavily onto anime, which is good, but diversity is better. As well as some unique doujin/manga artists which have been mostly ignored. Subscribe for more (?).
