    V2 OUT NOW

MANY NEW SPECIES + HUMAN ON FERAL/FERAL ON HUMAN

Do not buy me a coffee ☕ I'm not poor

Well, I've found that Illustrious doesn't really support or create ferals by default without rigorous and tedious prompting, so I've created this LoRA to introduce and kind of "force" feral support into the models. Doesn't matter what Illustrious model or finetune you use.

This should now work on ALL Illustrious & NoobAI models

    -Disclaimer-

Please be careful with the images you post to this gallery and on CivitAI with the LoRA. 60% of my example images were deleted

You can feral-ize pretty much all characters out there. If you have a LoRA for the character, that's even better! This model works wonderfully with other LoRAs.

This LoRA panders to weirdos, so if that's not you, simply run along and go look for another lora to play with

    Description

First and only version. Illustrious doesn't really like ferals, and until there's a furry based finetune on Illustrious, this is what we have.

Honestly once you get this set up correctly (Just the character name, and the lora tags doesnt work too well) this is amazing!

I just spent the past few hours trying every type of animal i could think of.

Dragon,Dog (and different breeds), Wolf, Cat (and different breeds), Big cat (and different breeds),Fox, arctic fox, Bear and Polar bear, Raccoon, Horse, Zebra, Deer, Elf, Reindeer, Giraffee, gecko, snake, turtle, Different Dinosaurs, Shark, Dolphin, Duck, Swan, some birds and even shrimp. They all worked to some degree! But most of those that i mentioned worked fairly well!

I did try some "out there" ones like Aligator and Antilope but those failed utterly unfortunately. Otherwise, Im surprised how well it works!

I will mention however that it really doesn't like doing duos that don't involve sex. even putting "sex" in the negative prompt with varying degrees of emphasis and strength doesnt seem to want to pull it away from it. Even using a regional prompter to have one character be a feral and another looking at them was all but impossible unfortunately.

Any tips on how best to try and avoid it, or any plans on a future version with a bigger dataset that would allow for that?

    Otherwise, this is great! Thanks!

I'm super glad you had an extensive time testing it and I'm super thankful for your long and verbose review

    VenDicloniusAug 14, 2025

yLora You're welcome! I am actually currently trying it with even more animals and it still surprises me how well it does for some of these. I tried "Eel" expecting it to fail utterly but it worked very well!

It does seem to struggle a fair amount with aquatic creatures though and even with heavy emphasised "No arms, no legs" they still sometimes slip through, sometimes often.

Also as mentioned in my main comment, did you have any suggestions on how to best do duos that dont involve sex? Any magic words for the prompt perhaps? Because unfortunately so far i've been unsuccessful.

Also Also, if you'd like i can try and pick the best ones out from the ones ive tested and post them here?

vendilconius The magic "tags" I happen to use are "safe", and I also will at times put "explicit" into the neg.

I'm additionally shocked you're getting any results for aquatic animals as they're not inherently in the training dataset for this LoRA, my main goal with this LoRA was land animals such as quadruped mammals or reptilians. I could perhaps release another edition of this which focuses on a wider ranger or specifically aquatic.

This LoRA was trained with around 60~ images.

yLora RIght gotcha. I'll try adding "safe" to the prompt and do some more fiddling and i'll get back to you on that once i go back to try doing some duos.

And yea i will admit the aquatic animals side is certainly very hit or miss. Attempting shark or Dolphin for example, will usually not be as good as first off, it will very much try to give them arms and legs even with heavily emphasised "No arms, No legs" in the prompt and negative but with enough playing around i did get a few lucky generations that lacked "armlike" fins and flippers. One problem though is that even with things like sharks and dolphins (and even some land animals) they always have a "human" head shape. Most notably, there is a visible neck.
I dont think any of those are good enough to post but i WILL post the best one of the bunch for the "Eel" after i post this comment (and the best dolphin even if i dont think its quite that amazing, if only just to show how the visible neck makes it not quite work). I also had a few good snakes as well. Right now, im experienting with various Pokemon as i noticed in the metadata of the lora that pokemon was mentioned.

Birds also worked to an extent as well but i have to heavily empasise no arms, and even then a good 70% of those images came out with three or 4 legs, some even leaning more towards Gryphons or Hippogryphs.

A updated version would certainly be good! Because even if only 60 images were used for training, it seems pretty good at what it does already! But yes as you say, even animals that typically would stand on two legs like Kangaroos or T-Rex's, is a bit tricky to do. Not impossible, but certainly it doesn't lean that way. While im mentioning it i should also mention that scale can sometimes be off with things like Horses and dinosaurs (Too small, generally) or Squirrels and mice (Too big, generally) and needs some rather creative prompting to try and get the scale right with mixed results but again, it still DOES it! So these are mostly minor gripes.

Once i've done testing i'll see about cherrypicking some good ones from other animals to post aswell. I've had some good giraffes (Which at first didnt do too good but eventually worked with lots of "long neck" tags and such), Koalas, Dragons (which i've already posted), and a few others like swans and ducks.

Granted, i have been testing with Just Ruby Rose this whole time, and i did recently swap to Misty from Pokemon for my Pokemon testing and the results aren't QUITE as good as they were with ruby, and im not entirely sure what that could indicate. Then again, my sample size on that is literally only two characters.

Anyone interested in v2? What would you want to see in a v2?

Just another even better one would be awesome

    KenmuriJan 11, 2026

I've been generating feral dragons but Nova Furry V14 tends to anthropomorphize them and a normal drawing ends up somewhat suggestive

    CrftJan 15, 2026

has this been good with realism so far? @Kenmuri Also nova models are more anthro focused from what I was told.

@Crft Quite literally training a v2 as I send this message, I pray for good results. This first version here excels at feral in all styles and you can indeed push for realism, but it doesn't cover a wide range of ferals.

    KenmuriJan 16, 2026· 1 reaction

@Crft It generates quadruped characters well when they are standing still or reference sheet type scenes. But in more dynamic scenes with other poses, she sometimes tends to make her legs look more anthro than feral.

    VenDicloniusFeb 8, 2026

Just popped my head back in to this and am glad to hear you want to work on a new version!
I think the things i outlined in my original comment several months ago are certainly good areas that could be considered for improvement!
Namely, animals that V1 didnt do too well (Like some Aquatic Animals like dophins/sharks or other animals with "non-standard" body shapes like alligators.

Another thing that would be good, but may be tricky, would be for the ability for duos but with only ONE of them being a feral. I remember in my testing several months ago i was trying to make a feral Ruby Rose and have a "shocked/surprised" Yang looking at her, as if this shot happened just after a transformation or something. However as i recall that did not work as it couldn't diffrentiate between the characters, which one was supposed to be feral and which one was not resulting in either two ferals or two humans.

If not that, perhaps the ability for duos with multiple species? For example, one character is a dog and the other is a cat? Again, would probably be tricky though.

Thats all that really comes to mind however, as its been some time since that bout of testing i did with V1 several months ago.

PLEASE can you squeeze in some human on feral references, furry models always get confused on human_on_feral vs anthro_on_feral. much love bro. love your work <3

@Mocchanyen the model has completed training for quite some time now, though my access to the site has been incredibly limited. i need to create some example images and push out the new version, soon.
