    Never trained locally before (8gb loser here), how's Prodigy training speed/perf wise versus Adafactor or whatever you used previously?

    i've used adamw before, the speed is nearly the same (though i haven't done a head to head comparison)

    Prodigy is quite a bit slower for me. It also uses more v-ram.
