Updated to v2.0:
This version enhances likeness and flexibility by leveraging a higher-quality dataset and introducing a new captioning strategy. Based on my tests, it also appears to perform much better than v1.0 when used with other LoRAs. Your feedback is always welcome and greatly appreciated. ❤️
Trigger word: m0l3r4t mole-rat
Strength: 1, Lower it as needed, for example, when working with other LoRAs or if the image appears overly realistic.
Important: If the characteristics of a naked mole-rat are not appearing, it can be helpful to add descriptions of its typical features into your prompt. This approach draws more from the model's training data rather than increasing the model strength, which could lead to over-specialization, as the model becomes too focused on the training data and loses its ability to generalize to new inputs.
I found that adding this description to the prompt works exceptionally well.
The m0l3r4t mole-rat has prominent incisors, and exposed, pink skin.________________________________________________________________________________________________
v1.0 - deprecated
Usage:
Trigger word: mole rat
Strength: 1
Add this description to enhance the effect if necessary: The mole rat has wrinkled face, beady black eyes, sharp incisors, and exposed, pink skin.

I have had some trouble when using this with other loras, it tends to give normal rats instead of naked mole rats. I'm thinking that might be the other lora latching on to the word Rat and going with that. So maybe it'd help to switch the trigger word to something like Mole_Rat that won't get confused for something else. Just a thought.
Thank you for your feedback. Before publishing this version, I created an earlier version with the trigger word 'm0l3r4t' (referring to the naked mole-rat). However, during testing, I noticed some unexpected behavior. It appears that Flux does not recognize 'm0l3r4t' as an animal. As a result, when the trigger word is used, the LoRA's effect does not activate as intended—except when the prompt includes related terms like "rat" or "animal." This makes the trigger word unintuitive for users. I will explore alternative solutions to address this issue. For now, I found a workaround that might be worth trying for the problem you're facing: try adding a description like "The mole rat has a wrinkled face, beady black eyes, sharp incisors, and exposed, pink skin" at the end of your prompt.
@PixelPawsAI Huh, weird.
Hi, with the update to the new version of this LoRA, I believe I’ve resolved the compatibility issue. Feel free to check out the results on the new version’s page. I set the strength of both LoRAs (DisneyMorph and mine) to 0.9 and added 'The m0l3r4t mole-rat has prominent incisors and exposed, pink skin.' at the end of your prompt. Thanks again for your previous feedback. Cheers.
@PixelPawsAI Awesome! I noticed you ran some of the stuff I was having trouble with. This looks great! It already looked amazing, but making it more reliable just makes it even better. Thanks!
this is fantastic, thank you
