I dont understand how this works
Was thinking the same.. Does it only make lineart, or does it go from lineart to shaded anime..?
@Lazman It's a controlnet. It's complicated to explain but basically a controlnet is used when you want to do something to an already existing image (AI generated, hand drawn, real photos). They're almost mandatory when upscaling an image with denoise (hires fix), but they have countless uses really.
Search for "AI Anime Girls as Creepypasta Images" and "Hidden Imagery In AI Art". You'll see optical illusions made with controlnets.
This controlnet generates a lineart of an image, which you can use to upscale/remake it with denoise and a different prompts.
