It has a relatively positive beautifying effect on most anime styles (especially cel shading), and I even regard it as a universal Lora for enhancing image quality!😋
Somethings going on with this lora, the dataset probably has non sdxl sized images, which is apparent during hrfix.
hmm, I don't think that is the case. I use bucket where it automatically resizes the images if it goes over the size limit (height/width.). I am not sure what is happening with your specific case. Never had that problem or had someone complain about hiresfix with this specific lora or any other of my old style loras.
