A world of filaments, tiny neon filaments, tiny neon glass filaments! Now you're asking yourself, can't we just prompt that? And you would be correct but it usually ends up sloppy and uninteresting.
I attempted to put a little origination to the chaos. I think I managed it. I wouldn't call it perfect tho, it was a [expensive] struggle bus to get it to this point, with 6 total version being created with multiple training styles.
The two version I will upload are the best of those.
Now the technical stuff:
Use the triggers! The one's between the || triggerword || are optional however. Try to keep your prompts somewhat short putting the subject you want changed very close to the beginning. I found formatting your prompt like: "X made of, tiny neon || glass || filaments" (glass being optional) works the best. The rest of your prompt can be whatever but again, try to keep it short.
It does work with other loras but generally you want them to be less weighted than this one.
It can have issues with producing background on it own. If you provide the prompt and give it enough weight, it should make it. It also isn't what I would call great at making realistic people, however it does seem to do well with anime/cartoon styled people.
Doing a hi-res fix with a denoise around 0.2 - 0.26 is suggested and if you want the ultimate detail out of the filaments, upscale using 4x_NMKD-Siax_200k. I felt like DPM++ 3M SDE Karras sampler gave best results. Higher the steps usually the better. CFG, depends on the model using.
Note: Onsite generator users, I have no clue how well this will work for you. No promises!
And pony folks, if this gets used enough I will attempt to make you a version but this is it for now.
Description
V1 -- more versatile with prompts but the filaments are more hair like than glass like.

Don't forget, this has two version. V1 is little more versatile with prompting, V2 seems to work better with creatures and has a more glass like look to things.
Be awesome and share your creations, post directly to the lora page if you want to be extra awesome (it gets me more buzz to create more loras!)
i used both because i love to mix and what better then two little thingies and some other ingredients thrown in for fun
Do you intend to keep working on this project? Because I would love to see a V3, and also to pick your brains for your methodology behind all this.
@CivitFowl In all honesty I haven't given it much thought. I not against giving it another try especially since at the time I made this was more or less guessing at how to make LoRAs and I have learned a little bit more since then so may be worth mulling over giving it another go.
@TheP3NGU1N Well if you decide to do so I'd be willing to put in some of my own buzz to help make it so, and also know a few people who would be willing to work to spread the word and so on.
Anyways, did a review with images in it. Two image posts in fact.
Neither seems to have become available from the review just yet mind you, not sure why but that should sort itself soon enough.
This lora is so much fun to use, thanks :)
Of all the loras for challenges yours has been the best so far!
Wow! That is awesome to read! Thank you <3
Ding ding! Round two of World of Filaments!
Didn't think I'd be put up for a second round for daily challenge but here we are! Or are we already starting over from the beginning of the pack? In either case..
Welcome all you new folks! If you're new to using this lora, I will fully admit it has one major flaw --- basic backgrounds! So if you find yourself getting empty bland backgrounds, it isn't you, it was me, not knowing how to make proper datasets for a lora at the time, as this one one of my very first.
BUT don't let that stop you from trying, crafty people can get around it it just isn't a easy copy and paste. Highly suggest trying this with other loras. If you want something really really weird, try mixing it with my Weirdies lora
I fully intended to make another version of this lora and I actually have tried but they never did quite come out as good as this one ever did so I didn't bother uploading them. Only want improvements not downgrades, right? Also tried to make a flux version and holy hell that was a disaster. Think I ate close to 20k in buzz trying to make it for that and finally gave up, lol.
Now did you expect three rounds?
A very peculiar Lora. It is not applicable everywhere. But if you choose the right accompanying elements, you can get a very cool result. Thank you.
Welcome to round three of World of Filaments!
Been a while since I've thought about this lora sadly. If you're new to this; pro tip -- its bad at backgrounds. It not you, it's me & my [at the time] poor lora training skills.
Use other loras with it that fit the similar style and you might get something awesome background wise.
This is an amazing lora, thank you.
