It's a hybrid of "Illustrious" and "SDXL" (although it's more "Illustrious"), so some lora may not work. It only works properly with the "LCM" sampler. Good results can be achieved using: "euler_a/karras 6-8 Steps, lcm/beta 6-10 steps" (applies to turbo version only). The emphasis was on realism. The settings will be in the picture.

FYI, your v2.8 (Alt_CLIP) version has no Base Model assigned to it, which makes it harder for people to find/search for it on Civitai.
Changed the category to "Illustrious" if it makes searching easier.
trying out the altclip 2.8 version and I've found that while it needs to wrestled into submission on certain concepts such as lighting and poses it does produce great realistic results that do not suffer the dreamjourney face or excessive photoshop skin.
While I'd prefer it to be more resposive to darkness and shadows it's great overall. I have lso found that most of my pony loras work well with it if I hike up the values a bit.
v2.0, v2.5, and v2.8 are absolutely fantastic checkpoints. Each one is slightly different, but all very realistic, with excellent color and contrast. Sharp images that resemble real photographs. I love them and thank you for this.
I know you don't personally have much use for it, and you didn't expect your base 2.0 model to be all that good, but it is honestly one of the best realism IL models out there despite your misgivings. I prefer using or having base models and then later deciding whether or not to add speed loras.
Please consider releasing additional base models in the future for those of us who prefer them. Great work -- excellent stuff.
Okay, I'll be adding basic models without acceleration in the future.
I'd like to echo what some others have already said: please release the non-turbo 2.8 with alt CLIP. The base 2.0 model is one of the best.
