Note on V18:
The model has a baked in VAE (In A111 select Automatic for your VAE) it's pretty good, I believe it's just "matrixVAE_v30" - so if you already use that then you could probably ignore / prune it.
I try to preserve these models identically to how they were.

Here's a tip:
screenshot what you download.
You STILL WONT remember after you're done.
But gather up your screenshots, fave the models, make a rentry card or small website showing off your favorites and disclaimer the max out of it going "Hey we forget all the time, so these are likeely in our models"
I get it XD I NEVER remember when i get to posting mine so i'm trying to back track and add them to a rentry pastebin :3
That and a second store it on huggingface as well as a mirror
@malikxseto I don't like doing that, I really honestly don't -- It's a persona lpreference because then i'm yoinking someone's work - I mean it's different for mixes that aren't available on civit that everyone's got the same copy of ...
But i'm not keeping copies of models that are aalready on civit.
Just sheer fact that it's a pain in the ass to store them PRIVATELY and trying to then re-find the link later and find out the current batchlinks way doesn't support private repos?
I apologize, it's MY OWN thoughts - xD but i don't have 50 gb of local space to use to store all my stuff I use - let alone the fact that i'm not waiting for someone to blame me for model theft XD
@duskfallcrew Taking someone's model and pretending it is yours is THEFT (and disgusting). Taking someone's model and putting it on a website that offers inference generation for a fee and NEVER lets you download the model is also THEFT (and even more disgusting)
But taking someone's model and uploading it to a website that hosts models for free and NOT claiming it is yours is not theft but a service to keep the model alive... if this was not done then models like F222 which are STAPLES of good mixes would have gone into obscurity and being lost to history.... There are model creators that had a bad day and deleted all their data and regretted it weeks/months after.... I think everyone should help and distribute models in an open-source way as much as possible....
One's failed model may become a key ingredient in a mix for another one.
That is my point of view :)
@malikxseto I fully agree with your last statement(s)...
But.. especially with Model mixing.. which it's arguable how much anyone owns of it anymore. Taking 3 models and kitbashing at a % doesn't feel worth getting on your high horse over.
Similar, training a model on images by other artists - it feels dubious at best to claim "this is mine".
Still I try best effort to give proper credit when possible to the model trainer (out of respect of the work they did,).. and the original artist it was based on when possible - sometimes I can't find who owned the original..
My main goal is to serve the community as a whole though.
I hate when the community loses something because of drama or whatever. When I find a image prompt that uses 3 deleted LORA's and a deleted model and a TI that's on some obscure rentry.. It's just a horrible user experience.
I have an excel spreadsheet with all my downloads, with description, "rating", trigger words, source.... It's at 10000 rows right now
@malikxseto Except in the instance where i'm removing all of my realistic content and some of my models that i don't want for generation at all - if someone has a copy of it then that's fair - but yea -- I'm not UN OK with semi private backups - I hae a couple -- but that's what google drive is for (if yo uhave the space) XD

is this Matrix Anime v1.4 ? I don't think V14 ever existed. I had v1.5 though
