In short, this is a must-have update.

Local Gallery
A lightweight yet powerful image management tool with AI metadata support — a hub of art and inspiration you'll want to open every day.I've done deep optimization on image browsing performance, so even when you're browsing millions of images, it feels smooth and effortless. The only time it uses up your computer's performance is the first time it generates thumbnails. It supports pretty much all major prompt formats out there. If you find an exception with your own images, feel free to open an issue on GitHub and attach the original image — I'll add support for it when I get a chance.https://github.com/SamLiu1000/Local-Gallery/tree/main

Features

Smart thumbnail caching — load once, browse forever with silky-smooth performance.

Fast & solid search — find any image instantly across your entire collection.

Rich tagging system — plain text tags, avatar-style tags, and full HTML tags. Supports SVG icons, system font icons, and lets you turn folders into tags for easier organization. You can make plain text tags, text with icons, icons only, images with text, images only, or even HTML effect tags. That means as long as your imagination is big enough, your tag styles can be turned into literally anything you want. And don't forget – you can also convert folder paths into tags and customize them however you like.

AI integration — customize API endpoints and system prompts to auto-generate image descriptions.

Multiple prompts per image — store several prompt descriptions for a single image, either via API or manually. This is one of the program's key features.I usually use it to build my own inspiration library. You can customize the API's system prompt so the AI can critique or describe the work for you.Or you can manually fill in the prompt as your own take on the artwork. It also supports batch AI descriptions.Just click the edit button at the top of the album, and you'll see the editing options appear below the folder navigation on the left.

AI-generated image metadata — supports reading metadata from nearly all mainstream AI image generation tools.

WiFi Access — There's a 'WiFi Access' setting in the options. What this does is, once you launch the program, if your phone or pad is on the same WiFi as your computer, you can access the mobile version of Local-Gallery through an address like http://192.168.5.30:25876. This is also one of the program's cool features.
