This is my first Lora using Illustrious as a base. I have several things to say, since I just today tried this checkpoint.I don't think it will replace Pony at all, since in the little I've used it, I noticed that Illustrious only works well when we talk about high resolutions, with Pony I've never needed to go over 1024 pixels to get something good. I watched the anime again and took the time to make a dataset of 120 images from the anime in HD to remake this Lora. The costumes are easier to generate with this version and because of the large dataset the results resemble the anime with the polished Illustrious style.
