Tired of the plastic, airbrushed, and overly stylized "perfect AI" look? This LoRA is designed specifically to inject authentic, casual smartphone and point-and-shoot photography characteristics into your generations.Whether you are running Krea 2 or Qwen-Image-2.1, this model relies on naturally captioned amateur snapshot datasets to capture micro-textures, organic lighting, and the beautiful imperfections of real-world camera lenses.
Key Aesthetic Features

Realistic Camera Artifacts: Natively injects low-light digital noise, ISO film grain, soft-focus highlights, and subtle lens smear.

Authentic Lighting Behavior: Natively handles tricky lighting like harsh direct flash, mixed ambient room light, streetlamp color casts, and backlighting lens bloom (ideal for window shots and mirror selfies).

Unposed Compositions: Renders natural body language, casual mirror reflections, and candid street photography without looking forced or studio-lit.

Prompting Strategy

For Qwen 2.1 (v1)
Qwen thrives on natural language paragraphs rather than tag lists. Describe the environment and lighting casually:

Indoor Snapshot:
candid_snap photo of a young woman wearing a casual grey hoodie sitting in a dim diner booth, direct flash lighting, holding a coffee cup

Night Street Photo:
candid_snap amateur snapshot of a man walking down a rain-slicked city sidewalk at night, yellow streetlamp reflections, harsh ambient lighting

For Krea 2 (v1.0)
Use descriptive tags alongside the trigger word:

Indoor Snapshot:
r3alism, a casual flash mirror selfie of a woman in her bedroom, messy hair, low-light phone camera texture...

Night Street Photo:
r3alism, an amateur smartphone snapshot of a person walking on a city street at night, visible digital noise...

Krea 2 (v2.0)
What's new in v2v2 was retrained on the same image set with rewritten, more descriptive captions and a lower rank. The result is a more prompt-responsive LoRA. It follows your scene, outfit and lighting instead of dragging in the training look, and it stays subtle unless you push the strength.- Better prompt adherence: clothing, props, textures (e.g. rib-knit) and setting follow your prompt closely.- Low content leakage: tested across night bar close-ups, bright daylight kitchens, overcast cafes and a night backyard with a costume. No stray outfits or props from the training data showed up, and daylight scenes stay neutral.- The look scales with your prompt: ask for flash, grain or a blown-out window and it delivers, but it doesn't force a night-time color grade onto daytime scenes.Recommended settings- Trigger:
candid_snap,
at the start of the prompt- Strength: start at 1, go up to 1.5 for a stronger effect.- Tested up to: 2.0 with no obvious breakage, but higher strengths tend to look cleaner and more polished, not rawer. For a rougher candid look, stay around 1.–1.5 and add concrete flaws in the prompt.Prompting tips1. Describe specific phone flaws, not vague ones. "Slightly tilted framing, blown-out window, uneven auto white balance with a yellow cast, top of head cropped" works far better than "imperfect photo."2. Keep degradation wording moderate. Words like "heavy grain," "significant noise," "out of focus" or "low-res" can push the model into mush, smeared faces and occasional glitch streaks at the image edge. Use "mild noise" or "a little motion blur" instead.3. Don't contradict yourself. "Sharp contrast" and "lack of sharp edges" in one prompt pull the model in two directions.4. Write it as a scene. Full descriptive sentences work better than tag lists.Example promptsDaylight kitchen
candid_snap, A young woman stands in a cluttered home kitchen on a sunny morning, pouring coffee from a glass french press into a ceramic mug. She wears an oversized gray sweatshirt and her hair is in a messy bun. Strong sunlight streams through a window on the left, slightly overexposing the window while her face sits in soft shadow. Shot quickly on a phone without posing: slightly tilted framing, mild digital noise in the shadows, slightly yellow cast, top of her head partly cropped.
Cafe
candid_snap, A woman sits at a small cafe table by a window on an overcast afternoon, holding a white ceramic coffee cup and looking down at a paperback book. She wears a beige trench coat and a green scarf, with a croissant on a plate beside her. Other tables are softly blurred behind her. Shot quickly on a phone: slightly tilted framing, uneven auto white balance, the edge of the table cropped at the bottom.
Night flash
candid_snap, A young woman in a long pastel pink ball gown with a sparkly tiara twirls across a backyard lawn at night, laughing and looking back toward the camera. Direct on-camera phone flash lights her and the grass, while the background falls off into darkness. Slightly tilted framing, a little motion blur in the skirt, mild digital noise in the shadows.
Mirror selfie
candid_snap, A woman takes a mirror selfie in a bright bedroom, covering her face with a light-colored smartphone, wearing a maroon rib-knit top and loose black trousers. Soft window light through sheer curtains, a distinct lens flare from the phone, a slightly hazy washed-out look.

Casual Snapshot Realism

Update 1/10/2026 – V2 file replaced with a retrained version- Dataset expanded with 13 new images that have clear, sharp faces.- Captions rewritten again: they now describe expression, makeup and face details, and note when a face is hidden or out of focus, so blur no longer gets tied to the trigger.- Result: sharper faces at close and medium range, and it keeps a character LoRA's face better in my testing.- Already downloaded V2? Re-download to get the update.About this versionkrea2 V2: retrained on an expanded image set with rewritten, more descriptive captions and a lower rank. What changed:- Better prompt adherence: outfits, props, textures and settings follow your prompt more closely.- Low content leakage in my testing: no stray training outfits or props, and daylight scenes stay neutral instead of picking up the night-time color grade.- Sharper faces than before, and it plays well with character LoRAs.- The effect is subtler than v1 at strength 1.0, so raise the strength if you want more.Recommended settings:- Trigger: candid_snap,- Strength: 1.0 to 2.0 (start around 1.0 to 1.25 and raise it if you want a stronger effect)- Describe specific phone flaws in the prompt (tilted framing, blown-out window, uneven white balance, mild noise). Avoid "heavy grain", "significant noise" and "out of focus", which can cause mush and edge glitches.
