Don't include too many different image styles. Choose the one that looks as close as possible to the person, preferably semi-realistic and only add a few others in different styles. You can duplicate and crop the same image in various sizes if you think it strongly represents what you're aiming for. Also, feel free to include one or two real images of the character to add versatility.
