Upcoming Features: Final Edition

If you're only here because of the "final edition" part skip to the final heading.
More upcoming features
I'd like to share with you some of the upcoming features I've spotted being work on on the github. No links this time (see final heading for details why).
The generator on mobile browsers is being worked on to make the experience of generation on mobile less of a hassle. From what I can put together from the PR it will allow you to see the queue while having access to the generation form without having to constantly switch views. It will also have the cost picker and generation cost breakdown combined into a single button on both mobile and desktop as well as showing what your buzz total will be after the generation. Update: this appears to be live now. The mobile generator is much more phone/touch friendly in my opinion. Not sure how I feel about the new "more info" box in the queue on desktop though, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
A new version of Knights of New Order. The PR calls it V2 but the current version is already a significant revamp of the original so I'm not sure V2 is entirely right. There are a lot of PRs on this one. It's getting a complete overhaul with addition of things like daily watches, streaks, and a daily gold cap based on rank. Also some kind of yes/no question system that sounds a lot like things I've seen from the moderation app PRs.
Why "final edition"?
Let me start off by saying I'm not leaving the site!
I got a DM last night that I'm not going to go into detail about other than to say it was nothing bad, in fact I was pleased to have received it. But that message caused me to do some thinking. I have been joking about "no-lifeing" on the Civitai github, and it made me realize it wasn't really a joke. I've been spending almost as much time reading github pulls and merges as I spend at my job and it hasn't been good for my state of mind. So I've decided to avoid checking it altogether. This of course means that I will be finding out about new features at the same time as most regular users. I'm still going to be making my usual image posts, and I'll try to make sure my merges stay on the generator. But I'm going to be stepping away from articles about upcoming changes and features. I'll probably still post articles about new features when they launch assuming someone better at writing hasn't beaten me to it. If your looking for aticles on site changes and new features I would suggest RisingV and John_Ksampler as they both make excellent update articles. If my articles about upcoming changes and new features were the only reason you were following me then feel free to un-follow, you won't hurt my feelings.
