TL;DR: The H3 Contest is closed and the winners are in. On the training side: 106 LoRAs from 52 creators, 1,350,000 Buzz across 18 prizes, and 18 different people taking one home. On the content side: 1,015 videos from 263 creators across nine crucibles, and 933,200 Buzz to the top three in each. That's 2,283,200 Buzz and 45 prizes in all, won by 34 different creators.

    What you made

Training. Five weeks ago we asked a simple question: with reference to video this good, what is a LoRA still for? You answered with 78 Style LoRAs, 21 Concepts and 7 Camera Control LoRAs, all trained on H3.

Some of these taught H3 a look it had never seen. Some taught it an idea you can't show with a reference image. A few taught it how to move a camera. Thank you to everyone who trained, uploaded and shared one.

Content. Over three weeks we ran nine crucibles, three a week, for short H3 videos: horror, cyberpunk, westerns, fantasy, noir, sci-fi and a meme crucible every week. You entered 1,015 videos, and the community voted on every one of them.

    How the winners were picked

Every category has two podiums. Staff Picks were chosen by our moderators: six of them each picked their favorites per category, the picks were tallied, and ties were settled by a vote. Community Picks come from genuine engagement from unique real users: downloads, collects, reactions and on-site image usage. Comments and tips don't count, and engagement from brand new or duplicate accounts is filtered out.

These two podiums are for the training contest. Every podium pays 1st - 100,000 Buzz, 2nd - 75,000 Buzz, 3rd - 50,000 Buzz. Winners get the animated winner badge for their podium, and everyone who entered a LoRA gets the training participation badge. Crucible winners are decided by community votes in each crucible (see below).

Placed twice? You got the bigger prize

The rule is one prize per person. This time that rule actually mattered: several creators placed in both Staff Picks and Community Picks, or in more than one category.

Instead of just bumping them off a podium, we gave each of those creators the biggest single prize they placed for, and the next entry in line moved up into the spot they left. Two creators went up from Staff 2nd to Community 1st this way. On the Staff side, two more moved up a place, and the mods' alternate joined the Concept podium.

Camera Control was the tightest category. Every entry that could have taken Community 3rd or Staff 3rd belonged to someone who'd already won a bigger prize. So we didn't leave that Buzz on the table: the two unclaimed 3rd place prizes became two extra Community places in Style, the category you entered most. That's still all 1,350,000 Buzz, paid out to 18 different creators.

    When do I get paid?

Crucible prizes are already in your account. Training prizes and all the badges go out over the next few days. Everyone who entered a crucible gets the content participation badge. You'll see the Buzz in your account and the badge on your profile. If something looks wrong after that, reply here and we'll sort it out.

    Next time

If you're planning for the next contest: running a crucible, challenge or bounty on your own entry is allowed, and it's a good way to get people using it. What we act on is fake engagement, like alt accounts and bought reactions.

    Thank you

Thanks to the six moderators who went through every entry, to everyone who trained something for H3, and to everyone who entered and voted in the crucibles. Browse every LoRA in the H3 Training Contest collection.

Congrats to all 34 of you. Go make the next one.
