Paget Brewster is an American actress and singer, born on March 10, 1969, in Concord, Massachusetts. She first gained recognition for her recurring role as Kathy in the fourth season of the NBC sitcom "Friends." Brewster is best known for portraying FBI Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime drama series "Criminal Minds," where she was a regular cast member from 2006 to 2012, made guest appearances, and returned as a regular in 2016.

In addition to her work on "Criminal Minds," Brewster has appeared in various television series, including "Andy Richter Controls the Universe," "Huff," and "Community." She has also lent her voice to animated series such as "Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law" and "American Dad!"
